Bought exactly the same headunit a couple of weeks ago, have exactly the same issue, was thinking about mounting it on the rear screen. I assume they have to be mounted on the glass ? I did wonder if mounting under the roof skin would work.

Standard DAB aerial fitted on the underside of the boot should work fine.

No metal in the way and no nasty messing up of the beautiful Tam contours.

On my Chimaera I ran a Copy of a DAB-1 antenna to the passenger side of the dash and slid the little flexi di-pole under the leatherette trim below the windscreen with the little box tucked in the void for the ventilation vent. The self adhesive sticker was useless so I used the same 3M double sided tape that I used for the wing mirror glass:

The reception is ok and if you ant to keep the fitting discrete this should be ok. If you want top optimise performance getting it higher may help but will mean removing the A pillar trim which will be a bit of a faf.

The AN-DAB1 clone antenna I got did not have the Screw fix connector but the push fit one dues stay in place. (Try and get the correct one!)
