hi guys, when temperature rise till 90+ degrees Celsius only the right fan starts working. not the left one.
is there a separate relais for each fan ? And are both fans supposed to start at the same time or is one fan starting at , for example at 90 degrees and the second at 95 ? Can someone please clarify this ?
kind regards

William,
The RH side fan starts at 92 degC. The LH fan should come on at 94 degC..
NOTE: the pod temperature indication is NOT highly accurate, so the points mentioned above may vary....but the pod indication will show a temperature trend.

The most common fail point for the fan(s) are the CONNECTORS close to the fan motors, The pins get corroded/dirty.

To check all is well with the ECU and the control of the fans, remove both halves of the airbox and under and between throttle bodies 5/6 you will see the temp. sensor for the ECU. With the engine RUNNING, both fans should come on when you remove the plug from this sensor. If the LH fan does not spin, try wiggling (and/or cleaning) the connector near the fan. If it still fails to run then check the fan relay.

Can't remember the exact temps, but if like the Tuscan 1st fan at around 89, 2nd at around 95. apart from when ambient temps hit the low 30's over here my second fan rarely comes on but as I understand it the cooling is better than a Sagaris.

As you probable already know the ECU and dash take reading from different sensors so what you see may not be what the car decides is the temp to start the fans.
