Hi All
can anyone help here
have no power steering
80 amp fuse ok
putting power to green/yellow cable the pump runs, so pump/relay ok
there is no power to the connector which feeds the green/yellow wire to the relay
the connector is ok
i have checked the fuse box 30amp fuse 35 is ok
looking at the fuse box diagram i think the fuse for the supply cable is the shared with the heater which is ok

i assume that the supply wire to the pump relay is fed direct from the fuse box,
am i correct or does the immobilizer involved
i changed the battery a while ago and have nor driven the car since
thanks in advance

Does it have Citreon/Renault relay … large grey cylindrical thing ?
I had 3 fail on my Tuscan 2, eventually put an uprated relay in its place.

My Tam shares the the 30amp fuse with the fuel pumps - I have twin pumps.

I think the immobiliser is involved.
If I just turn the key, the PAS pump stays silent. Then I press the immobiliser button and the PAS pump whirrs into life.
Does the engine start OK?

yes the engine starts but misfires, i suspect fueling but its not been run for a while had this before and after a good run it sorts itself out.
the problem with the power steering started after the battery was changed
i do suspect the immobilizer and have tried to reset by disconnecting the battery for a while but no success, still no power to the contol wire to the power steering relay , when the fob is pressed i can hear the fuel pump prime for a few secs

Just checked the fuel relay and its like a rusty nail on the inside
one on order, same part as a Land Rover Disco part no AMR1088
hopefully will sort both issues
