Would have thought that they would have nicked the "R" from the Tuscan-R.

The outline sketch looks OK - who did it?

Yes. Back end, from the sketch, looks a big improvement on standard Tamora - IMO. Front 3/4 view looks more Tuscan now, and with a targa there won't be a big difference from a standard Tuscan.
('cept the Tuscan is still the dog's to look at!)

Agreed with christof, put the 4.4 straight six lump in it, very nice.

I presumme that the existing Tamora will still run along side, otherwise TVR would not be able to offer a Full Open top car.
Any news on what the prices will be for the new model?

Any hints as to what the engine is going to be? TVR 6 I presume? Does the '350' = capacity or HP?

Either way from the image it looks great! I even like the colour

Now that looks very good, as it is a coupe do we know if they are talking 2+2? If so I can have one :-)

Kiss of death for the Cerbera?

Difficult to see TVR running with two coupes?

I beleive it is standard Tamora underpinnings including Speed 6 engine.

Car looks great, I'm also pretty happy the engine is now sorted as well.

I'll be seeing it at the motorshow!

I wonder if the "few weeks" will be any shorter than the 6 months they promissed me for delivery of the Tuscan R I ordered 2 years ago.

After hearing nnothing from the factory for well over a year, I contacted Ben Samuelson a couple of months ago. He promissed to bring the car to me the following day, as he'd be nearby, and just didn't turn up. He then promissed me some tickets to one of the GT/Tuscan meets, so that I could talk about the car, and that turned into a nice letter (2 days before the meeting, when it was too late to pre-order tickets) saying that "if I decide to go to the race meeting, do feel free to pop in to the TVR tent".

I think I'd say to any prospective customers. "Don't hold your breath." TVR weeks are about as accurate as TVR BHP figures. ie, a random figure plucked out of the air by a PR man, intended to look good, but with no basis in fact.

James (soon to be ex Tuscan R waiting list member)

Sorry, don't see it myself. Is it only me that thinks it looks like a Z3 coupe?

James, I agree entirely. The image is, I would imagine, a Photoshop special, as the stylists are probably flat out trying to build the first mock-up at the moment.

"A few weeks" will probably change to "six months" very soon.
