pedal box cover removal

Probably obvious after the first time but...
How do I extract the cover once I've detached it from the pedal box?
I've got the bolts out and it's loose, but I cant seem to get it out over the pedals and past the fusebox/wires etc.
Up at the back first or front first or at an angle somehow....?

Just lift from the bottom and give it a wiggle. Did mine on Saturday, found a large pebble and two old 5p's under it. Will be good to give it a clean I feel...
