Sagaris Bonnet Fixings (Rear) B&Q Fix
Discussion
I've been having problems with my two Sag bonnet fixings coming loose (the ones at the back, not the front thankfully!). They are the two torx type fixings that hold the rear corners of the main service bonnet down. The passenger side one also started to rattle even when fully 'engaged'.
Had a look and there should be a rubber washer on the shank of the fixing which then compresses between the underside of the bonnet and the top of the metal receiving slot on the body. My washers had deteriorted with time (and heat I expect) and one had split in two causing the rattle.
I replaced these with B&Q 3/4" rubber tap washers which are the same diameter but a little thicker. Had to give them a sand down with some P40 to remove some thickness to get them in but this has given a nice tight fit with some keying on both sides to hopefully stop them turning and allowing the catches to open again. The rattle is also now cured.
These are they:

NB. Other brands of plumbing supplies are available.
