My T350T is in need of a front end respray along with the rear diffuser thingy thing.
Every body shop I have contacted say that Crystal topaz is a B**CH to match up.
With this in mind what is the general consensus in the TVR world about a complete colour change.
Obviously the originality of the car will suffer, and in turn would this affect the cars overall value??

Nope - enough cars have had colour changes, does not matter TBH
Just make sure whatever colour it is machines the interior
Or, speak with TVR specialist bodyshop who deal with the messy paints
- Concept Performance - Sheffield
- Surface & Design - Blackpool would be two
CP have done a couple of my cars - both of which are tricolours. Copper cascade + Desert Moonlight

Agree a colour change isn't an originality issue and would probably enhance the value. CT was a great colour at those launches but it seems to have fallen out of favour with most buyers.
Don't know where you're located but other than the premier league outfits metioned by Alex, I can recommend BeeGee Coachcraft in SW London for great value and the really experienced Gary. He's painted hundreds of TVR's and did a cracking full respray on my Tuscan for three and a half grand (in Grigio Titanio).

Thanks guys for the info.
I am thinking of going for a complete colour change to BMW Snapper Rocks Metallic Blue..
I’ve changed the colour on mine completely and haven’t looked back. I was contemplating both Snapper and Yas Marina but ended up with a Volvo colour. I am thinking of going for a complete colour change to BMW Snapper Rocks Metallic Blue..
Go for it, you won’t regret it.
I have the same colour T350T, needed the same a front end and bit of a rear end due to a bit of peeling clear coat. In the end it needed a full respray as they couldn't get a match, I spoke with Concept design at Sheffield they managed to source the correct paint. Was a long drawn out affair mind, but it looks great now !! As somebody else said speak to the guys that know TVRs. Your welcome to pm me to discuss further or chat on the fb site
How about you look at it this way: a colour change respray is about £5k assuming you don’t choose a seriously expensive colour. Therefore, the worst damage you can do to your car’s value is £5k. On this basis I’d go for the colour I want, really enjoy the whole respray process and if necessary respray it if and when you want to sell.
When I win the Euromillions I’m going to have a garage full of TVRs and my local body shop is going to be very busy indeed.
