Just about to remove the stainless tray/stiffener under the engine on my Tamora. I notice the roll bar bushes are held in by this tray and the bolts on either side. Can I just remove the tray without the ARB coming out etc? Anything special I need to know/Do? Does suspension need to be loaded or unloaded etc?
Didn't want to remove the tray then find I can't get things back together again!
Thanks, Matt

You can smile Normally just stays in place thanks to bushes squished into the chassis cutouts. But I think even if you pull it loose it doesnt go far due to drop links. I think as long as the 2 sides of the car have similar suspension compression then you wont see much tension in there or tendency for the thing to pop out.

^^Absolutely what Pete says.

I've dropped the s/s stiffener off my Tuscan a few times - no bother at all.
