This was sent to me from the dealers who have the car for sale. I'm concerned about resale value.
At 46k it's 30k less than A Surgaress but it's also on the register so you think at that money is a fare price, my wife ain't to pleased as it's not real xar.., bla bla..

I would tend to agree with your wife , it's a T350 with a Sagaris body and will now , never be either . I would be asking the question why ??? I guess it was a write-off in 2011 smile .

I noticed that for sale and thought it looked like it had been well done . Now they have shown what they have done it and with what materials I would steer well clear . Why would you make a video showing work like that !

If plasticman thinks the work is inferior I would take his word for it.

Re-sale value imho would be poor, it certainly isn’t likely that it would appreciate like a “real” Sagaris.

There was me thinking the stitching was all looking very good and loads of work put into it, what materials should they have used?
The interior looks fabulous but not seen in the flesh.

I'm completely uneducated in this sort of thing; can you share some of your wisdom on the negative things you picked up from the video? I appreciate your busy so if you want to pass then no worries smile

The repairs that you can see in the video have been done in fibre reinforced filler which has far less glass fibre than an actual fibreglass repair . It is considerably weeker and all those cuts in the body are potential starts for cracking . It is a shame because they have spent a lot of time on the body shape and gaps .

Thanks for that insight; maybe you could explain also why you see this sort of cut out? It is for adhesion between the two parts (I'm thinking when they are sanded down the connection points are primarily those gaps?)

I have never done anything like that so I cannot say . If it is to get the bonnet to fit then altering the bonnet height would have been easier without cutting into the exterior visible parts of the car.
