From the advert it looks and sounds like a nice car, but for me £30k is dealer money and too much for a private sale car without a lovely new interior, perfect paint a Powers 4.3 engine or somehing else to make it ‘special’
You’d need to be quick as well as I see it’ll be £32k on the 1st March. smash

It is a late model so in theory it should have a more reliable engine. It seems that the 'TAM' registration is included which (if you like it) is probably worth £1000. It looks like it is in good condition so the price looks OK to me.

Can’t be 100%, but if this car is YJ06 then when I last saw it, it was very nice, I know the previous owner regretted selling it.

It's a nice very late car and not expensive at all when compared to other T cars currently available.

On the surface at least it appears to be a good car. Well worth looking at it if you are serious .smile

Just seen this thread, my old Tamora is for sale with STR8SIX, also red, I know it’s a bit more than the 06 car, but does come with their bullet proof warranty and provenance plus the 4.0 Red Rose STR8SIX rebuilt engine.

It might be worth having a chat with Chas or Jason, it’s a lovely looking car and sounds awesome.

And no it’s not sale or return so I have no financial interest in it!!

I think that Red Rose was the factory’s name for engines that they had tuned to a better level, the end result with the Tamora was more power, about an extra 40bhp but it also had more torque so it’s was much more drive able than the standard 3.6.

Factory Red Rose was a blue printed 3.6 with 375bhp, and bigger discs front and rear. Some were rumoured to have lighter body. CR box was further option as I recall.

It's worth the travel..

Had ours 14 years now, best TVR out of the box. Fcctory 4.0 litre from new, big brakes and carbon roof.

I’ve just made up a new rule for this forum: you can’t make reference to anything made of carbon that fits a TVR (especially a Tamora) without including a picture. So chop, chop, get your camera out!

Hi, YJ06 was mine a few years ago. Think it's had a couple of owners since me.

Strange contacted them Chaz seemed not to bothered to chat about the car, I asked questions and got one word replies made me feel quite uncomfortable.. I think he thought better of it when I sent email asking Jason to call which by the way he hasn't.. Oh well its only 34k peanuts.. 😜

Had similar experiences on the phone to Chaz myself. I presumed its because they're Southern.
