New Tamora first problem

Joined the Tamora club yesterday,had a great drive home after collecting the car did over 100miles stopped to fill up with fuel ready for drive out today,got back in car and it wouldn't start behaving like the battery was flat , Two lads gave me a push (and didn't take the piss ) drove another 40miles home ,stopped the car tried again wouldn't start . Left it about 2 hrs started no problem , Can these cars suffer from a hot start issue ??
When the key is held over in the start position
Battery voltage should not drop below 9.6 Volts
To check the leads when in the start position
Check voltage drop between battery negative and starter body - Should be no more than 0.25 Volts
Check voltage drop between battery positive and starter solenoid positive terminal - Should be no more than 0.75 Volts

Yes hot start is an issue with T cars.I had a T350 and you had to plan to fill up when cold as it would really struggle to start when hot. I think there are things you can do but I can't remember what they are now. It is a common problem.Check earths to starter and other ends!
Feel the cable for hardness as the routing is poor and the cables can be effected by the heat cycling. Hard cables are bad.
Also, TVR really were penny pinching when it came to the main power cables. IMHO they should be atleast the next size up.
Check earth connections at battery and behind battery where it goes through the bulkhead - it is a bolt not a stud so will need two people - one in the footwell and one in the wheelwell.
Check the 80amp inline fuse to the starter. Indded check all the inline fuses - one under the airbox, one by the battery and one in the footwell. Replace them with ceramic 'midi' versions. Indeed the 80amp one (starter only IIRC) can be uprated to 100amp.

Thank's for the reply's,charged the battery up yesterday with the trickle charger green light came indicating fully charged,cleaned all the cable connections and the earth cable ends and battery connections. started the car no problem,moved it out of the garage ,turned the engine of started it again all good .Got the wife (first ride out ) sun cream, hat, ice cream money,sun glasses ,locked the house got in the car wouldn't start , battery seemed flat again!

From Graham Varley's page on the Sagaris he confirms hot start issues.Starter Motor; The starter motor seems to be reliable, but some folks have experienced, poor starting when hot. Could be due to a poor earth cable. I am not sure why it can fail but to replace its airbox off. Its off a 5series BMW, part numbers- Bosch 0 001 108 063, BMW 1 312 104 8.
Maybe look at replacing the earth cables then.
I never resolved the hot start issue, just learned to drive around it, getting petrol at the start of a journey not the middle. I found 10-15 minutes would be sufficient time to allow to get it started again, but it still turned over very slowly.
Trickle charger on over night , green light again ,no joy wouldn't start,jump leads of the daily driver started first flick of the key!! .Just taken battery of the car all the cells have no water in , so i guess i could have found the problem.Not a hot start issue just a won't start issue.
