Well, I'm booked in for the Tamora's 6000 mile service with Colin Blower Motorsport in Hinckley, next Friday. I was very impressed with them, when I visited with East midlands TVRCC last year, and since they are an independent, they are cheaper, BUT, they are approved under TVR's warranty scheme. So, reasonable price, hopefully (£250 + £150 if valves need work, IIRC), but I retain a valid warranty. So, I'll let you know how it goes....
(Could be a very boring day though - no loan cars etc)

Hinkley... zzz...
Anyway, if you're bored, get yourself up to the Fox at Higham on the Hill (the little PH marking!). They do a cracking toastie for lunch and if you take your binoculars and sit out the back, you can watch anything on MIRA's proving ground.

jeremyc, first impressions are that I'm glad I've got the Tamora as it's far easier to drive through town every day!
The Cerbera's a big car with a very heavy clutch. The Tamora feels faster especially as it revs so high there's less gear changing. The Cerbera's a bit deceptive, it doesn't feel as fast but when I look at the speedo I'm well over 3 figures without realising! So I'll have to go with the figures and say that the Cerbera is actually faster even though it hides it!
The best thing about the Cerbera is driving through down listening to the exhaust banging and popping. Now if only the Tamora did that?
(This is after only 24 hours with the Cerbera. I'm sure that given time I'd get used to the clutch and the car's size.)
Cheers.... Andrew (ex gb61390)

I've used Colin Blower for all the service work on my Chimaera since I've had it, (3 years) can't really fault them, Mervin seems to know his stuff
If I know the car's going to be finished in a day I get the train into Leicester, and the only cinema there is another bus ride out of town to a 'retail park' usually just relax in town and watch the world go by, do a little shopping, etc.
