Boynett have just got back to me and seem deeply concerned about my wear problems. They're taking it v seriously and visiting the car at home this week. Will keep you all posted.
A good response then, shame TVR never replied to the same plea......

That's good news. However, it's a shame TVR didn't persue it on your behalf.

If an engine component failed, you wouldn't expect to have to ring the manufacturers on behalf of TVR.

Or would you?

Excellent Lance!
You're right that it does seem as if they are genuinely concerned?
Cheers...... Andrew

Good stuff, Lancce. Now all we need to know is who are the twats supplying TVR with faulty camshafts, and we can bombard them with writs - well, all those affected can!

I've got a nasty suspicion I'll be one of them. The engine was assembled in March (similar time to the others) but I've only done 2100 miles so nothing has materialised yet. I think the other guys were around 3-4000 miles? Suffice to say I've asked the dealer to check for excess wear while they fix everything else next week. Hmmm....

My cam wear showed up at the 1000 mile service (done at 940 miles)!
