some electrical functions not working........

Hello all.

Has anyone had a similar issue when the hazard warning light switch is pressed and only the left hand side bank of external lights flash? The right hand side, nothing, (the led's on the dash do not flash either ) , unless you use the indicator stalk in either the up or down position at the same time, then all lights flash as they should. Any clues? Also in addition the wing mirror motors on both sides are now inoperable are these issues connected, or is this just the mirror control unit that needs refurbing?

Hazards issue sounds like an earth problem to me. Don't know about the door mirrors.
