Today's issue - Supercar heroes for £100 a week. Around 10 cars including the Tamora. Generally a very positive article with just a quick comment on reliablity if you buy a pup at the end of the article. Nice side-on shot of a red Tamora flatters the styling too (pity about the gold wheel centrecaps though).

Next week's AutoCAR has a 'First Drive' of the Sagaris too. I guess this is different to a 'Full Road Test'.

Nice article, really quite flattering about the car, and will hopefully build up the general desirability of our great motor, and keep 2nd hand prices up.

Although they are perhaps over-praising and slightly naive about the reliability:

"Generally speaking there isn't a lot to look out for on the mechanical front"

"there's no reason why a Tamora with 50,000 miles under it's tyres shouldn't behave well" - certainly hope this is true, but what on earth do they base this on? How many of you guys have done 50,000 miles?

"The engine is pretty bombproof by TVR standards" - no comment!

"the electrics aren't overly complicated and are, therefore, pretty reliable" - heater flap anyone?

LOL, My Tam's still being worked on regarding the heater flap, they changed the motor yesterday, still no good, changing the switch today.........
Luckily, my warranty company is coughing up for all this!

Is this 'my' dealer? I'm hopefully picking mine up tomorrow after a delay waiting for the bodyshop (rear light sealing). I'll look for out for yours.

Update regarding the very reliable heater flaps, dealers have not only changed the switch, motor and wireing, but now have to change the ECU, so no Tam for this week at least!! , so Trefor, please tell them to hurry up, am missing her!!!
(Glad I bought the warranty now!!!)
