I'm picking up an 03 T350C next Fri!

I've been reading through posts about little niggles and things to watch out for and wondered if anyone had collected them all together somewhere?

I'm just after good information from all you existing owners.
Thanks

here's stuff I copied out of everyones posts so far. What else is missing/wrong?
Put it into 5th before trying reverse and also to leave it in gear when parked.

If it’s garaged and not being driven for a few days, leave the handbrake off to avoid the brakes seizing.

Label the internal buttons

Petrol Filling
• Put in as far as it will go (I was told not to put it in very far but never worked for me).
• rotate 90 degrees clockwise
• take it very slowly (just use half trigger)
• Stop half way through and let some of the fumes escape.
• Have a paper towel ready just in case.
• Always wipe away any spills to prevent paint staining.

Warming up
• Keep it below 2.5K Revs when oil temp below 50C
• Keep it below 3K Revs when oil temp below 60C
• Set the green dash warning light to 3000 so its easier to know when to change when cold
• After that, let all hell break loose…

Oil
• Use semi-synthetic until the 6000 mile service, from which point on you change to fully synthetic, i.e Castrol RS.

Door rattles
• you just need to remove the 3 bolts underneath the door. From what you're saying it sounds more like the window frame/mechanism rattling than the latch then. Taking the panel off might help you identify the culprit.
• The main reason for the door rattle when closing is from the glass. because the glass only sits between two brush strips as opposed to rubber strips as on normal cars, there is nothing to prevent the movement of the glass, hence the rattle.
Managed to make mine sound much better by fitting self adhesive sound deadoning pads, available from any good car audio store, these I have fitted to the inside of the door and on the inside of the door trim panel
