I know where there's a very nice one going for 30k

Red, Grey interior, AC, brand spanking new tyres & brakes, & just (within last few days) had its 12,000 mile service.

So if you are all selling...then why? And what are you replacing them with?

Cheers

Not that I know off.

Think you're still looking at around £32-33k from a dealer, or £28-30 private.

Warranty is not a huge issue, as they only cost around £650 per year anyway, and dependant on which you get, only cover certain things anyway.

Personally, I'd be looking for a car which has just had its service. I mean, mine has just had its 12000 mile done, with new tyres, it set me back £2000. So whoever buys it literally would have nothing to pay for 6000 miles (and even then its only the minor service). You don't want a bill like that 2 months after purchase do you really ?

Each to thier own.

Yep there sure are .... i know someone who bought a Black T350 for £25K with remaining warranty ..... bargins to be had if you really want them and look hard enough.
Seems to be private sales when people move away from TVR ownership and other dealers don't want to touch them. Happy Hunting.

If it's the one I'm thinking of it didn't have air-con though. Although it was a very nice car!!

£25k, must be a very early model.

Mine's '03' 2003, and have been offered way more than that as a trade in.

As stated previously, running costs can soon add up, so choose wisely.

That one had 10k miles on it and had just had a service and new tyres. Definately a bargain.

There ain't too many of them about though.

Out of interest, what's the going rate for an average mile 2003 car when sold outright to a dealer (I know of one that went for very little but I suspect it was a one-off).

Judging by TVR press releases, the t350 was modified in 2005 (thus the 3yr warranty). As new cars are 39,250 on the road I suspect that will put people off a used t350, especially if it's nolonger under TVR warranty.

Never asked about selling outright to a dealer, only as a p/x on another car.

How much lower would the 2 be ?

Selling mine because I now don't have a local dealer and company policy dictates a change of vehicle every 2 years.

It's going for 26k because it's done 23k miles.

As for the comment about red ones being faster... that only applies to Fire Engines!

Lots I'd imagine! I've been given a wide variety of quotes on mine for an outright purchase but all are well below book for trade price.

Thinking of selling (65% decided) for a change of marques.

Love the T350 to bits, so much so was going to p/x it against a Sagaris.

However, want to experience what its like to own a Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo (hopefully), before I'm too old to enjoy them, so hence the possible sale.

This is quite normal for 99.9% of cars, I bought a top of the range MGTF160 with loads of options ticked for over 21K, when I decided it wasn't for me 6 months later the best I could get for it was 13K!!!
I think the secret is to buy a car you are 100% happy with, and keep it and not worry about it's value too much, we don't buy these cars with investment in mind, but to enjoy driving them, (That is, when mine's put back together at the dealers!!! lol)

That's about right (maybe a bit low though).
I know of one that went for that, but that had 20k ish miles.

I'd have reckoned on about 24-25 for yours as a straight sale...
