yes,the same issues apply, when comparing the same year of model.weather its a 3.6 or a 4.0 litre makes no difference as the bits that are weak are the same used on both.what misleads many is the fact that tuscans have the worst rep due to them being around in the earlier days up to mid 2002,when things seemed to take a significant change for the better.thus i would consider a 3.6 tamora a 4.0 tuscan and a 3.6 t350 all equally reliable if all made at the begining of 2003 for example.its not the engine size,or the car that it goes into that makes it unreliable.you also have to take into account the numbers sold of each model, the tuscan was far more popular than either t350 or tamora so theres bound to be more affected when the percentage of unreliable engines made stays the same.the best chance of getting a good s6 comes with buying the latest year you can afford.all imho of course.
Realistic (i.e. real world) top speeds are around 165mph for the T350, and probably 155-160 for the Tamora, due to aerodynamic considerations - although (IIRC) Flasher managed an indicated 175 in his Tamora en route to Le Mans (that had a 4.0l engine though).
0-60 about 4.5 for both, but I've never measured it and it would be a guess at best unless you strapped on proper timing gear.
