Sagaris VS SLR MCLAREN?

i see that the sagaris is just a bit quicker 0 - 62mph according to most of the websites, i was wondering if this was true. Also i would really like to see these car's race around the track... I mean £300,000 + for the slr is a lot, and you can pay 50k an get a sagaris whats the performance difference??

The SLR McLaren will be in a different (see higher) leagure in terms of straight-line performance. You need to be considering 0-100mph and 30-70mph times really for these type of cars.

Remember that the performance claims made for the Sagaris were based on the lightweight prototype and have not been proven. I for one do not expect it to be ant faster than a Tuscan S so 0-100mph in 8.1s is going to be a challenge.

0-100 will be close but from then on the SLR will pull away into the distance.. as far as track times are concerned we'll have to wait and see, but i can't see the SLR been much quicker on the track...

trying to get my father to get one, he told me that he might go for the BMW 6 Series Coupe, n thats 50k... i think that the sagaris will get a bit more looks n mum like the sagaris too think he going for test drive i hope (then i will get him 2 add me 2 the insurance)

I had the Peninsula demonstrator for the weekend, and thought it handled corners like they weren't there, I found it tramlined horribly...

I heard the demos went back for some geometry setup, so hopefully, this one was a "pre fix..."
