Aaaaagh!

Long story, but I've just wrecked both my wheels on the passenger side..... Gutted..

They're too bad to get repaired / reconditioned - does anybody know how much they cost to replace?! should I think I think about replacing all four for a new set... Suggestions please..!!

Could you claim on your motor insurance? better still if your no claims is protected. Claim the kerb jumped out and hit you first.

How bad is the damage? Most wheel refurbishers will bring them back to looking new for £50 a wheel, or so, as long as there is no structural damage.

Even new ones are nor stupid money, as mentioned.

Thanks lads - The damage is pretty deep, but I'll take your advice and call in at a refurbishers and see what they say - you never know, they may be able to work miracles!

Thought about insurance, but the excess is far too high...

Hmmm - well thay would be more difficult to damage the rims, but not sure about thier performance...!!!

been on PH before under 'tweel'
but still fun to consider this innovation





look a bit fragile somehow
ps should negate the speedo inaccuracy/margin as well
