Can anyone please tell me [and others] what the heater flap settings actually do? Also, I only have hot air blowing from the windscreen vents and not the leg vents, can someone help please? My local dealer said that it will only come from the windscreen vents but, I've read on here that it should also come from the leg vents. Anyone?

The problem is that TVR change the specs for these things seemingly on a whim, so it's not that easy to diagnose, my Tam went back to the dealers yesterday (yet another W/E without my car, but chan's happy as she's been given a Pug 206cc cabriolat courtesy car!!!), and the dealer have to put a different spec flap motor in the car, as the one I had they no longer make (it's only 3 years old ffs!!!) and all the wireing is different to my 'old' heater flap motor!
With that in mind, I guess you need to ask someone who has the exact age and spec as your car, having said that, knowing TVR, no two cars are the same anyway!! lol

Sadly, I can't make it , but we do fully intend coming to any meets during the year, I just want my Tam back! having withdrawal symptoms, badly! especially on a day like today, the Pug Cabrio with it's fancy roof just don't cut it, and I won't drive it, it's so girly I'm sure the bonnet's wearing lipstick!!

Pleased to hear you have sorted the heater vent prob out though , did you have a fiddle with the flap settings (!!!!!!!)

Cool! I think the consensus is that the flap settings work best when on '16', mine didn't stay on 16 however, and kept re setting itself to zero, hence getting a new flap control motor put in (and me without my Tam for the best W/E weather-wise this year!
