Is decatting ok on the T350?

I spoke to Paul at Austec, he said when they decatted the Tamora it created a big hole in the torque curve, but no such problems with sports exhausts they've tried, so he strongly advocates not decatting.

There is a rumour that the overrun when having a sport's exhaust wrecks the catts (melts them). Dont know if anyone has proved this to be the case though. So dont take this as gospel...
