Does anyone know where the chromed spiders that appear on Shinynuts' website are produced?

Jeremy Smith isn't available until 22nd. March, and all my wheels need refurbishing, so I thought, those shiny wheels look quite nice.

Anyone got any info. on them?

I've spoken to Metal Magic - they can do bright chrome or smoked chrome - they're paint finishes, so I imagine any wheel is suitable. Mind you, they're booked up for drive-in work until April, so I'm dropping the wheels off tomorrow, and should have them back in about a week.

I'll post some photos when they're back on the car.

It's Barnsley - not the 21st. century!!

I'll see if I can get some photos of the finishes - They do seem to be a reputable company, but they still answer the phone in a "Hello, luv!" kind of way. So, a big from me!

I think I'll go for the bright finish, although I'm not quite sure what the smoked finish looks like - it might be a little more subtle, but who wants subtle with chromed wheels?

Having seen what's on ofer, I would say that the picture at the start of this thread is a light smoked chrome - it gives a gloss finish over a darker grey colour, rather than over a pale grey. I get them back in a week - so i hope they're alright!

No problems - I realised when I got home that i have an old flyer from Metal Magic, for just such events!

I just hope they get the grey level right - I don't want the wheels too dark. I'm looking forward to getting them back next week!

Those look great!!!! very stylish I think, and just the right amount of subtlety, how long were the wheels gone for, and where are the people that did it?????
(Not that I'm allowed anything else, of course!)
