All,
Can someone give me a bit of info on the T350..ie am I right in thinking they only came out in 2002/3, therefore (the cheapest)one will cost me at least late twenty's? Also what are the reliability issues...Same as Cerbie/Tuscan?
And finally.....anyone wanna swap a 330ci for one??!!
Cheers.

I Think you need to research a bit, as you will find the problamatic engines were pre 2002. The major differences that you will find with the T350 from that period will be that the dont have all the mods that have been done over the last few years eg, luggage cover, boot opening access point etc...
I had an early 2003 model and did 14k with it in 5 months without problems, it was so good that i have ordered a new one!
Just remember as with all sp6 engines, you need to warm them up properly each time and in doing so, they can be very reliable ( i have had 3 sp6 engined cars without any problems).

good luck

Nah, you can have mine for 26k.

24k miles, no engine problems and all the niggles sorted.

Be quick though, it's going to a dealer on saturday and then you'll have to pay 30k!

Cheers.
However, it would seem that early £30k's are required for relative "worry-free" ownership, so might have to keep the beemer a while longer. Still, would it be wise to assume that with the arrival of the Sagaris, people will be selling thier T350's, easing 2nd hand prices down a bit?

Nope - Keeping my baby!
Much as I like it, I dont think theres a significant increase in "real life" performance, so I'd be chucking away £20k just for the looks!!

You'd also get a better built product backed by a 3 year warranty. The performance would be wasted on the majority of us mere mortals though, I suspect.

It is a shame that some of the product differentiaters have been dropped though (like the lighter bodywork, extreme look (well a little bit!), and the aerodynamic bodywork slats).

It just doesn't do enough to justify the additional money over a standard T350. Take a T350RR with full leather and the cost comparison is very different.

I am happy with "Donald" my ice blue T350c for the time being thanks.

Dare I ask what the dealer offered as a PX/outright purchase (I'm sure a hard up Pistonheader could do better than the dealer price!).

If it was a couple of weeks later, I'd be sorely tempted.

Just to update you, it didn't go to the dealer, as a private buyer is hopefully coming to view it this weekend. The dealer has offered 25k, I'm only going to make £995 (less my advertising costs)if I sell it privately but I'd rather it go to a PH'er than some dealer who'd make 5k just for polishing it and slapping it on the forecourt. (cue: dealer screaming about overheads, but failing to mention the shite PX price you'll get and how much he'll make on the finance )

So... you have another 6 days to make a viewing appointment! A deposit will hold it if you like it.

Mine is due to go up for sale in about a week; Jan 2003 Chameleon Green, 7.6K on the clock, recent 12k service and JP sports exhaust. Been a fantastic car and given me no problems but simply not practical and doesn't get used enough as I have too many kids! Going to my dealer sale or return for Easter weekend. 29K wanted if sold privately.
