Just had one fitted to the T350 but am having a few problems checking coolant level.

As advised by my dealer there should be approx 1 inch of coolant in the new tank, unfortunately every time I go to check the level there's nothing in there at all. Topped up twice now and every time nothing in there the next day.

Any help much appreciated

Steve.

you have to make sure the pipe with is small gauge has very good clamps, or when the system is pressurised then watter just pisses out.

Get your self a pressure test just on the off chance tho'

Few I thought it was just me!! Mine also looks dry and was wondering what it should be at! Will call my dealer for a second opinion and see if they say that. When I looker at how it worked I was puzzled, its really only a further expansion tank which made me wonder if should have anything in it! I know others on here had it done so perhaps someone can elighten us! I know one thing though, car runs about 5c less than it used too!

I assumed it was supposed to be nigh-on empty.

Mine has been running 2 or 3C cooler post-fitting and temperatures have been less volatile since fitting it.

Full judgement reserved until it has been trapped in stationary traffic on a hot day.
