The wipers sit at the bottom of the screen just fine when parked but I've noticed that the wiper on the passenger side just travels over the rubber window seal at the base of the screen at the end of it's upwards stroke (and creates an annoying squeak as rubber touches rubber.

I know that the drive mechanism is linked by a rod with "rose joint" type bushes but they don't appear to be adjustable. The logic being that if you could screw them into the rod further, the stroke would be shortened and the problem cured.

Anyone got any ideas?

I adjusted my passenger side wiper just by unscrewing it - allen bolt I think? Then just lift it off, and it's then pretty much infinitely adjustable where you want it to sweep to.

I realise that you can adjust the start and stop points by doing this but it is the length of the sweep, i.e. the angle arced through, that I need to reduce.

I put a shorter wiper on the passenger side to help get the park postion lower.
