Has anyone had their oli temp warning going off regularly?

Mine goes off almost everytime i take it out (although i can cancel it using wheel controls). Its not the end of the world as the temperatures on the readout are within the normal boundaries and are accurate.

Mine is having it checked at the moment and they can't solve it - plus all the advice from TVR themselves has proved useless.

Any ideas / previous experience would be much appreciated.

Cheers

I've never ever had an oil temp warning. Yesterday my oil was at something like 2 degrees when I started up and drove off (below 2000rpm for the first 3-4 minutes at least) - no warnings.

Sometimes get an oil pressure warning at startup. I clear it and it never comes back - caused by the software sampling the oil pressure the moment I let off the ignition key or something - of course there's no oil pressure until it's got pumped around. Silly software.

I have seen oil temperature warnings when it is very cold, close to freezing or below. I have had the display crash one time when this occured. Had to remove the fuse to the display to reset it.
