Anyone know the current waiting list for a Sagaris? Years? or just months? I realise the release date is a bit iffy, but a rough estimate?

Can't afford one now, but hopefully will be ready for one in say 2-3years.

Is there a deposit to pay? When is this due? Further deposit at speccing time?

Cheers

£1000+VAT when you order

Balance up to 10% (so 10% of final price - £1175) when you spec.

Full cost on delivery.

Waiting list is probably around a year currently.

Why spunk £50K on a tarted up T350?

A T350 with the RR work is a much more elegant and substantially cheaper beast.

Horses for courses though...

I liked the Sagaris in the Motorshow spec but its changed a lot since then and it was wearing £15K's worth of paint.

Added to which in two years you'll get a 996TT and about £10K change from the price of a new Sagaris...

True... I've been thinking that I'd get a lot more value from a secondhand T350...

Got a year or so to decide anyway... half the fun is weighing up all the different options and test-driving some

Talking of test-drives, SilverstoneTVR said i could take their T350 out and I never got round to it... time to organise that one i think

Indeed a T350 would be cheaper, infact you could pick a very good one up from under 30k.

However, I suspect the sagaris will be a tad more 'special' than a red rosed T350, which incidentally new would cost around £45k, so not that much cheaper.

With regards to delivery dates, I have been told around 6-8 months, although just before christmas was offered one with a April delivery date.

Yes But, Aircon is an option on the sagaris as is many other things.

A decent specced Sagaris would be £ 52,500 ish (a/c & pearlescent paint). Is full leather still standard ?

A RR'd T350, with same spec, would be circa £ 45k.

However, if you buy a T350 & then get it RR'd through TVR Power, does this not only carry a 12 months warranty ? As the factory no longer build RR cars direct do they ? Whereas a Sagaris comes with 3 years warranty.

From what I understand the Sagaris also has far better suspension, etc, and also more powerful than a RR'd T350.

Maybe i'm completely wrong but assuming you can live with the styling, then the Sagaris is definatley worth the extra. IMO.

YES THEY DO!!!! RR is a 3k option on the T350. Mine has just arrived, with 3 years warranty and RR kit etc...

Order now = June delivery. Waiting list cant be that large??? The SAgaris is a truely stunning car but its not worth 12K more than a T350 when only minor modifications have been done. Having said that when you see the bodywork/styling reality goes out the window and the cheque book come out!!!

What would the chances be of ordering now and getting one with enough time to run it in for Le Mans?

Failing that the Orange 350 at silverstone looks nice too......
