www.tamora.net ?
Discussion
Hi All,
I've been putting the finishing touches to the site and it will be online very soon (depending on other work).
I will put a post in this thread when its ready for all to see. Many thanks to everyone who provided photos of there pride and joy (Tamora).
Regards,
Ramesh
PS: Is there anyone in SW London who owns a Tamora and would allow me to take some photos ?
( There are some sections which could do with a few more photos )

TVR will make the colour to your specification.
There was a woman and she wanted her car painted the same colour as her ski boots, the factory matched the colour and painted her Cerb in that colour.
There is the basic list but then you have all the special paint finishes ontop of that.
Too many to mention really.

oh ok cheers for the info.
As a top web developer, I can really make the site shine. I was trying to look for standard colours which could be changed in real time.
I also thought of having some sounds on the site.
The site will be an introduction to the car .
With a link to Pistonheads for use of the forum.
(why re-invent the wheel ?)

Morning Lance. Yep, I've got some video of me and flasher at Donington, but it's not digital video, and I can't find a cable which is compatible with my camera and video card on the computer. But I'm looking!!
Ramesh, as a "top web developer" (modesty, Timothy!), do you know of any such cables? (or issues re compatability etc)

re video one nice cheat is that if you're working with a DV system (the most common now) and your camera has analogue video in (many newer Sony / Canon DVs do), then just record from your old camera into the DV camera via this analogue in port. Hey presto you've now got it on DV, and so grab into the PC

you could use a firewire cable if your camera and computer supports it. The latest generation of creative labs sound cards (The audigy range - starts at £80)all come with the usual plus a firewire port.
Thats a bargain considering firewire cards retail for aout £45.
The card has 4x the processing power of the last generation and sounds great (especially if you wire your home cinema to it).
The best format for sharing video over the net is the DivX MP4 Codec. What mp3does for Audio , mp4does for video. It compresses the video really well and maintains quality at about 75- 80 percent.
Coming back to the topic. I am trying to make the
website more of an experience, rather than the usual brochureware (sites which look exactly like a magazine,
and do not taking advantage of the interactive nature of the web). So sounds of the car will certainly help.
cheers for now !

sorry guys. I forgot to put a ;-) after the words
"top web developer" in my post.
Question: are local dealers covering the number plates on cars to prevent car identity theft ?
It does sound a bit strange I know.
I think I may remove the plates on cars on the tamora.net website (or blur them ).
Hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend.

Nubbin, I think this may be what you are looking for, as it appears to work with an analogue video source.

The question of copyright comes up.
All the images have come from people who actually
own a Tamora. At the moment, all images are from people who have responded to my original posting.
The supplied photos are also authentic.
Someone once emailed me a couple of photos and said
sorry about the house (in the background )
It needs another coat of paint !
