It was a sad sight today to see my T350C being loaded onto a trailer to go back to the dealer.

Only 3 weeks old, used twice, and both times without any warning the engine just cut-out on me, then restarted again straight away without a problem. Fortunately in both instances I was on a quite country B road, if I was in heavy traffic it could have been worse.

I've never experienced this in a car before, anyone else had any similar experiences?

All credit to the dealer so far though for very quickly arranging for my car to be collected. I just hope they can diagnose the problem and I wont be without it for long.
Otherwise the car is just awesome and I'm missing it already.

Had the same thing with out T350, always when not fully warmed up. Don't know what the actual cause was but it was resolved at the first service by the dealer.

I am in same boat. Mine was dropped off on the 10th Jan and is now in the factory for an engine rebuild, won't be back for another 3 weeks.

Can't get an adrenalin fix as good anywhere, wife's going mad.

Can't wait to get it back.

I hope they get those cars fixed quickly for you. Having picked mine up the day before Ballistic and Admoss got their's, I'm hoping the TVR gods weren't looking unfavourably on all of us that weekend...

I've done 900 miles in mine now. The only problem I have is the air con doesn't work - just blows the fuse as soon as its switched on.

I am sharing in the withdrawal symptoms with you guys though - I am in Japan on business. Am back on Friday though and need to do another 100 miles over the weekend before the car gets its first service on Tuesday.

Good luck guys!

Hi Paul
Sorry to hear of the problems, As you know, i had my share in the early days of getting my new T350c, I cant believe its nearly two years old now, she has performed faultlessly for ages now,(the car that is!!). But i'm a tinkerer so i can always find something to "get working better" Found out by a process of elimination how to make the windows go up higher when you close the doors, and it works!! so when you get that prob(and you most probably will), give me a shout and i will fill you in.
So try and live with these bloody anoying faults, cause things will get better.

Dave - the window adjustment sounds interesting. My driver's door glass doesn't drop quite enough and is just catching the roof a smidge when opening/closing. I'd appreciate any tips on what I can adjust to fix it (sounds like the opposite problem to yours!).

Hi Trefor,
Here goes, listen up!...Remove door panel... totally unstick the rubber door lining, and put to one side.
Roughly in the centre of the door at the top,you will see the cable that pulls up the window.
Adjacent to where the cable joins the window mounting frame, and at the very top of the frame, you will see a very small allen key with a lock nut,
this is quite a long allen screw, you need to unlock the nut on the screw, and wind it out a bit at a time, and by a process of elimination the window will close up higher, and hopefully as in my case will get rid of the damned wind noise that i used to have at speeds anything over 40mph.
Having said that, i'm not sure what to do about the glass not dropping low enough to stop it hitting the foof, but i have one more tip though....clean all of the running track with some fine wire wool, and lube it with 3 in 1 oil,(not greese)This should increase the speed of the window opening and shutting.
Apparently the speed of the window movement, and the time it takes to open or close is only a few seconds before a censor switches of the power.
thats why so many of TVR window stop short of the top.
(IMHO) i must add.
Let me know if my theory works for you.
