Rear side windows coming away??
Discussion
Wondered if anyone else has experienced this. The rear side windows on my T350 are coming away at the bottom edge, leaving an a visible air gap that water gets into. The car is still under warranty but my local dealer is reluctant to touch them. They say they would rather it went back to the factory, but I don't like the thought of half a dozen drivers moving it around and all the delays that may ensue. So, anyone tackled this themselves?
Also, the light switch control unit and the heater/fan control unit are two different finishes; one satin and one polished. The local dealer are saying it's a PDI issue with the garage that supplied the car new. said they would get back to me but haven't. Any thoughts?

My side window leaked a little after washing the car so my dealer resealed it. They had their local bodyshop do it while attending to a few other snags at the 1k service. Not leaked since. If your car is under warranty I'd try another dealer ...
As for the switches - if the dealer won't swap them why not see how much one costs to buy, bet they're not that expensive.

We had our windows restuck by our dealer, they both come unstuck again!! once when i was doing well over 70mph(ish)...ahem!!
And it was only hanging on by a couple of inches of the so called "glue"
After that happened, i took both windows out myself, and bonded them back in with a very tough marine Black mastic called 'Sikaflex'
God help the person who try's to remove them one day, as they ain't coming out again whilst i own the car!!
A couple of tips for anyone thinking of using 'Sikaflex'.... warm it up before you use it,in a bowl of hotwater, also...wear protective gloves, as the mastic stains your pinkies like you would'nt believe, and it will take weeks to get off..Yes Weeks!!
Believe me, i have used boxes of it.
