My T350 seems only to happy to keep spiking my nerves
with rushes of adrenalin.

I have a road on the way into my village that you can quite happily run down at 90 mph. The problem is when i hit the brakes to enter the 30mph zone ahead.

The road has tramlines in it from lorries. The car
seems not to like this and pulls one direction or another to the point where the driver in you knows
the car is at the point of getting out of shape. In other conditions the car brakes perfectly in a straight line.

I cant put my finger on exactly why or how but it has happened twice and I dont enjoy the experience.

Is the car being affected by the tramlines or does the geometry need resetting. I know little about geometry
issues affecting cars so any pointers would be appreciated.

The ruts in the road will certainly not be helping. How does this section of road feel in another sports car doing similar speeds?

I found my Audi A6 commutewagon tramlined more than my T350 when it was running Bridgestone SO3s - wrong type of tyre for that car (As I now know). Now running Dunlop SP 9090s and tramlining has disappeared.

The TVR has very direct steering and tight suspension/very low profile tyres - you will get some tramlining even if the geo is correct.

Had a Noble M12 prior to the T350. No problems

I that case get the TVR checked. Can't see it being much different to the Noble in that situation.

If anyone is still having problems, I have the geometry settings from when I had the Nitrons fitted...

Each car might be a little bit different, but I found the above settings DRAMATICALLY altered the handling of my car for the better... might be a good starting point..?

Ok, Here goes!

Front:

Camber - 1'
Toe in - 1"
Ride height - 127mm
Tyre Pressure - 24 psi
Rebound setting (on Nitrons) 17 clicks from fully hard

Rear:

Camber - 1.25'
Toe in - 5"
Ride height - 190mm
Tyre Pressure - 22 psi
Rebound setting (on Nitrons) 13 clicks from fully hard

Just looking at the toe-in on the front - think that should be 1' rather than 1" - can anybody confirm/deny as a sanity check...?!
