Just got off the Phone from my dealer and they received a bunch of Tamora kick plates from the factory this morning. Mine are being posted out to me FOC tonight. Get on to your dealer if you are still waiting for a set.
Cheers,
Nick

Just got back from my dealer Castle's and they knew nothing about this either.

Know have my close ration gearbox fitted
Won't get much chance to drive over the next 3 weeks but my initial impressions are good. It actually feels a bit lighter but that may just be my imagination.

Does the close ratio box have six gears, or five as per the standard box?

If it still has five gears, but the ratios are more closely spaced, doesn't this mean that when crusing in 5th, you'll be running at higher RPM?

If so, will this also affect top speed, as you'll reach maxium revs in top gear at a lower speed than than you would have done with the standard gearbox?

Ignore my last post!

I've just looked in the handbook and according to the details in there, the 4th and 5th gear ratios are the same for the standard and close ratio boxes.
