Looking for online motor insurance quotes earlier on in the year for my T350c was a no go. All of the majors were not listing the car on their databases.
Thankfully "Privilege" are now listing the car.
They have come up with a cracking quotation, £100 less then my current policy with Sunninghill. So make sure you shop around before going to the specialists

I have used Privilege for both my Chim and Tam, and they are the only insurance company that have been consistantly lower for quotes, I do often wonder about the validity of these so called 'TVR specialist insurance' brokers, they have never once come even close to what Privilege quote!
We used Elepant for the MGZR160, was great for the initial year (about £550!!! don't know why these are so expensive!), but when it came to renew, £749!!!
When I got an online quote, it was MUCH lower, when I queried this with the Elephant customer service lady, she sad 'You're not allowed to do that'!!!!! Eh!!!
Nethertheless, I haven't used them since,, they're OK for the first year, after that, from my experience, they bleed you dry!
Oh yes, can someone please explain to me why we were paying £550-600 for a 160BHP hatchback, and £580 for a 350BHP Tamora, which includes PNCD, 12K mileage and every other option ticked?????

Hot-hatch that "kids" are able to buy (no offence to anyone) versus a car that is more than likely to be owned by someone who is going to take care of it better than he would his own mother (sorry Mum... not me of course!)!!!
My insurance was £70 cheaper if I had my fiance added to the insurance for my Tam... it was a no brainer... although I may have forgotten to mention it to her.. oops ;-)

Very true about the 'Hot Hatch' (although it was anything but 'Hot'!!)
I too add my wife to the insurance, and it is less , although she does drive it too.
My wife has a Honda Jordan Civic 1.6VTi (158bhp) same as MGZR160 I think.
Again NU Direct £228
I will say that I have been with NU for some time and I did get a renewal quote thru for T350 for £1100. (beginning of December) When I went online and NU Direct quote came out at £658. I also rang NU. They agreed that they would honour online quote. No explanation why renewal came in so high.
