I am going to get the DAB tuner to go with my AVIC-X1 SatNav unit,, but the only problem being is knowing where the best place is to install the DAB aerial!
I have thought about placing it where the Tuscan S has it, behind the rear screen, but I am sure the boot lid will touch it when opened!, I also thought about placing it on the rear screen panel itself, on the top by where the main roof panel meets the rear, but that may look silly!
Anyone got any better ideas??, I love the SatNav unit, but the radio's reception is usually next to useless, a real pain when trying to catch up on news in the morning!!
I think I will get the car audio guys to fit a small sub-woofer at the same time too, as no matter how good my upgraded speakers are, the bass is pretty dire to non existant! (Even worse now with the sports exhaust!! lol

Chris

PS- Very merry Christmas to all the Tam/T350 guys ,, where are you all!!!!!!!

The main prob you'll have is finding a suitable location for the aerial where you can also create a good gtound plane.
I had a dab unit in my Griff, the aerial was pushed into the back of the passenger seat & grounded to the chassis. Reception was mediocre (tho' this was the best placement i found for it)
I now have the same H/U as you, with the dab tuner. After talking to some of the radio guys at work (aircraft maint.), the subject of ground planes came up. The suggestion was that I should try & make an "X" under the aerial mounting point with some self adhesive aluminium foil, with the aerial grounded to this. I put the aerial in the normal Tuscan S position (bootlid) with the X on the underside & reception has been fantastic. Previously it had been in the inspired TVR mounting point of stuffed into the rear wing with dire results.

Thanks for that Lead , I shall ask the 'specialists' to place the aerial neae the back top surface of the boot, with aluminium tape in a cross shape under the boot, where the aerial comes through, is that right?
I would love the revers camera, but there's nowhere to put it, at all,,, could do with it too!!! lol
