Due to a plonker in a rep mobile, I managed to severely kerb the nearside front alloy on Friday evening.
However, I've spoken with wicked wheels this morning, who are coming out next Tuesday to undertake repairs on site for £45 plus VAT!!!
This includes removing the wheel from the car, removing the tyre from the rim, grinding the damage out, filing the damaged area, finishing back to the original profile, priming, painting, lacquering, replace tyre, rebalance and refitting wheel to the car.
If anyone is interested, their URL is www.wicked-wheels.co.uk

I had a similar experience with my Delorean back in the US. I damaged one of the rims and because they were powder-coated and didn't match the original factory color I would have had to buy a reconditioned set at about $800.
I found a place who promised that they could fix damaged alloy rims and charged me $100 to do it. I thought it was a great deal and had them do it. Then I noticed a bit of a wobble under braking and figured I just needed the wheel rebalanced. After taking it to a shop, I was told that the wheel itself was too far out of balance for them to compensate.
I went back to the repair shop and they said they'd have another go at the wheel but they also pointed to the "fine print" in their service agreement that said they would get the wheel back to "90% true" and said there was no realistic way to make it perfect. I said I didn't want 'perfect', I just wanted it to be close enough so that the wheel could be properly balanced. Their response was that, after the second attempt which was no better than the first, they had done the best they could.
In the end, I had to ask th wheel-balancers to do the best *they* could and had to live with the wobble. It was never bad enough that I felt I had to buy a new set of wheels but it was a constant reminder of what I felt was shoddy workmanship.
So be careful about these places and made sure that you are both clear on the nature of the work, how the results will be judged and what they will do if the results aren't to your satisfaction.

Wicked Wheels visited yesterday morning as planned, and repaired the damage to the alloy wheel, which is now looking as good as new.
I also got round to fitting the new Tamora badge from Leven. A vast improvement over the original.
Even fitted, (a busy evening!), the Philips Silver Vision Bulbs, so that the clear lenses stay looking clear/silver, until the indicators come on.
Pictures of the above can be seen on:

richb is right.
Powerbulbs.com are doing a special deal at present. Four of the Silver Vision Bulbs for £26.00, plus a free pair of Blue Vision Side Light Bulbs.
Installation is a doddle, as the lamps are a direct replacement for the factory fitted orange bulbs.
I haven't fitted the front pair yet, as I'm still waiting for the Blue Vision Headlamp Bulbs, (yes, I know they're not as good as Vision Plus, but they look good, and I don't do much night driving anyway), so I thought I'd fit them all at the same time, as it involves removing the front wheels.
Come to think of it, I might get Blue Vision Bulbs for the fog lamps as well.

Clear indicator lenses front and rear on mine!
All I need to do now is find someone who makes a silver bulb that lights red, and I can get the rear/brake light lenses swapped for clear as well!
Come to think of it, Richbrook sell LED brake & rear lights that aren't red until they're illuminated. I think I'll investigate further.
