Went up to the factory today to see my T350c in final assembly (many thanks to Natasha and Lisa). It should be shipped down to the dealer on Wednesday so still a few bits of trim to complete, seats and exhaust to fit...

I really can't wait to get behind the wheel - I've been without a Tiv for nearly five months now.

The pre production (i.e. down the production line and not built in R&D) Sagaris was at the first stage of final assembly and the first dealer's demonstrator had just come into the hall as a painted shell. I think the dealers will be picking them up in February.

If anyone's got a car in final assembly at the moment drop me an e-mail as I might have a photo of it.

The pre production Sagaris was black and the 1st dealer car was a chameleon or reflex green

Interesting pic in your profile Martinp.

It looks like they have changed the position of the water top up tank, mines at the front center of the car, yours looks like it further back and on the left hand side of the engine.

Unless its not been fitted yet

They must have changed the position - I've checked the other pics of the engine bay and it is fixed in place. It's in that position on the Sagaris as well

Well at least it will be easier to get to than wear mine is.
At least you won't run the risk of getting burnt every time you check the fuilds like the rest of us.

Yep, its the new position, mine is one the right hand side of the car, but it hinders oil filling so TVR have put them in the left now

Nice looking car/colour, when do you get it?

Isn't it just great to be able to go to the factory and see your car being built, went to see my T350c last month, get it in 3 weeks.

This is the modified system prevent overheating. The cylinder on the left is an addition to increase the capacity. I am having my car modified.

Can't say that I've had any overheating problems yet quite the opposite if anything ,but only had car five weeks and have not driven it in the hot summer weather.
Wonder if they will be retro fitting the tank to the new position on older models if its a problem recognised from R&D under the warranty ????

The car should leave the factory tomorrow and I should be able to pick it up in the first week of the New Year.

Natasha told me that very few new owners were taking the option of the factory visit because they can't do the full tour - I think they're missing out. The 30 minutes spent looking over my car and around final assembly was well worth the journey up there.

Had mine done, makes a good differance! Before in traffic I was nudging 97 in seconds. The issue for me is understanding how much to top it up by. Any hints on this version?
