A general question of interest - how many miles has your Tamora/350 done and what oil are you using and how much? Have done a search and cannot really see much on this - mine has now done 11k and using Castrol RS 0w-40. Looking at the TVR manual it recommends 0w-40, but seemingly some people think this is too thin..would be good to see what everyone else is using given the mileage and appreciate your views on this topic.
PS - Not that my car is using that much oil, done about 3k miles and used 300ml of oil. I purchased 6ltrs of the above oil after I bought the Tamora, thinking it would drink more oil than the Z3 - not even close. Check it every week or after a long journey.

4500 miles not one drop and I am not joking of oil has been consumed! I have two lots bottles of oil I carry with me all of the time!! I check the oil everytime I use it. I am actually concerned that its not using any but TVR power said it was a sign that I am correctly warming the car and generally being a good boy when cold!
My oil went from Max to halfway to min in the 6,000 miles before my recent service. I bought a litre of the right stuff (not 0w 40 in first 6,000 miles I think it's 10w or something) and used about half of it to get to max - didn't really need to do this since the service was a week away.
This includes thrashing it rather a lot around the Alps
So maybe they're building them tighter than they used to? Our Audi TT uses around 1-1.5 litres between 10k services, and that's with my girlfriend driving (so more gently than me).
