While engine is warming up I have the display with large MPH on left, large Oil Temp on right.

Once warm, switch to large MPH on left, time and trip in centre, and the 4 bar charts with oil temp, oil pressure, water temp and fuel. Prefer this to the MPH and RPM display, happy to rely on the old needle and warning lights for RPM.

Don't use the night time display at night.

I like the tactical alert display best, the one that shows phase varients when Borg seem to be nearby to assimilate me and the car

LOL, sorry, couldn't resist , I usually press the wheel button on the left to give me a run down of all the pressures/temps when starting up and warming the Tam.
Hey Alex, have you had a front re spray? I ask because your bonnet grille and vents are body colour, and that's what I'm having done early next year, and I think anthricites are ideal in this weather also!! lol

I have oil temp on until it's warmed up then normally switch to RPM.

Never quite sure what the graphs are telling me - seems clearer with a nice unambiguous number.

At the momemt I need rpm all the time though, as my speed sensor has really gone awol, rather than just being as bit tempermental. Keep repeating the mantra going through all the Gatsos - under 2700 in 2nd, or under 2000 in 3rd for 30; Under about 2800 in 3rd for 40.

Dont have any 50s on the way to work, but I'm sure I went through a mobile trap in a 40 last month at about 15!!

I kind of do the same.. have the mph on the left and large oil temp on the right. When it hits 60+, I keep the mph on the left and rotate the oil temp, usually stopping on water temp or revs. Never really switch to the graphs for the same reason - too ambiguous.

I always switch to have MPH on the left and the various numbers listed on the right. Easier to see the various temps and levels, such as oil temp/pressure.

I like to be able to see clock and trip meter, so tend to only switch back to display with figures when want to see more accurately, eg water temp if sitting in traffic!

I wasn't very fond of the display on my Tuscan. Immediately I'd driven past Cherwell Services on the M40 the fuel guage counted down from 20 litres to zero in about 20 seconds! Luckily it was lying to me.

Have a question on this.. I start off and have the usual display of MPH on the left and oil temp on the right..when it hits 60+ I rotate the oil temp through revs, water temp, outside temp, battery etc (usual stay on water temp). However when I switch off and re-start (another petrol stop !!) it always reverts back to oil temp - normal, any idea?

I am a MPH and Oil Temperature man myself. I dont need the clock because my radio has one. The only time I changed was in France when I switched to km/H.

I asked dealer why it didn't re-start on display you last had on, which manual says it should, but they just said it doesn't, so presume there is no memory!

Can you change it so KMH is in the large size? I find the small text quite hard to read unless stationary, especially in the sun with the roof off.

Mine sometimes goes back to the previous screen (After clearing the 04 error of course). But only if I don't lock the car/arm the alarm.

Paul - what does your son do at Dream Machines? Got my car from there, may be heading over this afternoon to sort out reversing lights
