After three months of a VX220, I've traded it in for a T350C, which means after two and a bit years I'm back in a TVR. Which to me means I've bought more than just a car but back into the pistonheads community (always felt a bit of a traitor in the XJR and a wally in the VX!). I know some of those on here have been unhappy with their T350's but having had no end of minor faults that have lead to unerring inefficiently from Vauxhall I can personnally vouch for those who say that poor build quality is prevalent throughout the car industry and not just TVR.

Sure I expect some problems, but, having been away, I'm glad to be back.

Welcome back fatbutt , I am sure you'll love the 350
I always fancied a VX220T (as well as my Tam, I hasten to add!), as they seem such fun, are they as good as they look, or are there niggles with that car too?

Congratulations! Just one tip though, be nitpicky with the car when you take delivery and get all faults put right asap, they have a nasty habit of turning into major surgery all too soon.

Enjoy,

Steve

I'm sure they'd be great as a 3rd car (too useless in all but good weather to be a 2nd car). If you only use it for a few weeks of the year you could put up with the poor build quality, crap after sales service, lack of space, crashing ride, turbo lag, poor ventilation, blah, blah, blah. Great handling, but that's it. And they look great.
