My office is only a few miles from my home. In the summer the oil heats up to 60c at about half way through my journey. These winter days it only gets to 60c at about the end of my journey so I have decided to drive around the block a few times and make sure the engine is properly warmed up before I park. I do the same on my trip home. It means more mileage, more time and everyone thinks I'm mad. Am I??? Is anyone else doing this for winter?

So your driving the car further when it's not warmed up properly?

That doesnt sound like the greatest of ideas...

Speaking as a fellow Speed six owner and a Tamora owner I agree. Once I start the puppy I like to go for a proper drive and if that means a few miles extra then so be it. But to avoid looking stupid I would vary my route!

Same here; I've decided that any excuse for a few more fun-filled T350 miles is welcome! Engine builders advise getting any engine fully up to temperature on most runs; part warmed-up runs one after another are particularly bad news for lubrication and ignition.
