Sagaris Race Car
Discussion
I sat in that very car at the TVR motor sport dinner & dance last weekend in Blackpool.
And i must say i like the car now!! now that it's been 'tidyied' up a bit, ie.. got rid or that rear spoiler, Lots of people were saying how much better it looked without it, though this car had the fixing holes for one, and smoothed out the rear end.
All i've got to do now is persuade Diane that she likes it aswell Get your order book out Mr Caine
Dave
PS michael..were you winding me in by telling me that castles first demo Sagaris is going to be in Midas yellow?? Please don't do this to me, as i might just have to have it, you little tinker you!!

The car pictured is a track/road car, not the final race car.
The race car will be a further development of that car - e.g. it will not have trim, carpets etc, and obviously it will need to have a full roll cage fitted, rather than just the stiffening bar fitted behind the seat.
I would also expect the exhausts to be moved on the race car as they are just too vulnerable there in close racing.
Don't know about the rear spoiler - the car was only just finished in time for the dinner, so don't expect it to be in fully finalised trim.

I know I'm in the minority but I loved the rear spoiler. I hope they didn't scrap it permanently.
I doubt they will as in this week's Autocar interview Graham Browne said
"We need the gurney flap because the Sagaris' profile is just like a wing section and there'd have been some instability without it. Trouble is, if we'd made it out of opaque composite, you wouldn't have been able to see to reverse the car. It's lucky it looks so great, but it was definitely born of necessity"
I must admit the spoiler has grown on me, it just typifies the Sagaris’ function over form attitude.

I thought that i would never get to like it, but it has grown on me no ends, I am so tempted to sign on the dotted line.
Here is another surprise for you all, as most of the Essex posse know that i don't like those anthrshite wheels!!! but i have to say that they suit the car.
