No lights!

On Saturday night I was coming back over Salisbury Plain in the Tamora and not hanging about. Headlights on full beam and just into the twisty bit at the end a car is coming the other way so I dip the lights. A scary darkness follows, no dip beam. It was a good job the mood was bright or I would have been in the field.

So i pull over to see what’s happened, I get my TVR toolkit out and the F%#king torch doesn’t work due to cheap batteries leaking. so I cant see the fuses to check them. No option but to drive the rest of the way home of full beam with lots of people showing displeasure.

The 10A fuse had gone and keeps going so I have put a 15A in until I get it checked out.

Any idea what could have cased it?

It ould be the dim dip control box terminals burning out or the internal relay. Worth a look.
