OK, Am very excited now, my Tam is going to TVR Power tomorrow to have TVR Power's Sports exhaust fitted properly , I am sure someone mentioned that a chip was available to go with the exhaust, if this is true, is it worth having as well? I ask because the TVR Power exhaust is cheaper than we initially thought!, and have a little extra cash to spend!!!

Wasn't the chip needed if the engine was uprated in any way but not needed for std? (i.e something different to the std map?). I think Maddog mentioned this.

Decisions, decisions, is it to be a portable sat nav or a sports exhaust..

TVR power are only 30 mins away, Chris whose exhaust are they using and how much are they charging inc fitting.

This could be the decider.

Well, I have now had the sports exhaust fitted, it does sound great without being too intrusive, which is exactly what I wanted, and the over run is great now too, about the same as a Tuscan with carbon cans!
The sports exhaust is TVR Power's own (I believe) and cost £375 + 2 hours labour (it did take Dom 4 hours, due to my bracket being in the wrong place!) but Dom only charged for the quoted hours. Altogether, it came to £540, but this does include setting the exhaust correctly for the engine, test drives etc, all done by Dom himself! (He even said my Tam feels and drives great!!! )
All in all, I am very happy with the exhaust, and the Tam can easily be driven every day without grating too much on the ears, rather than a harsh note, it's more of a 'grumble'. That is, until you put the right foot down, then all hell breaks loose!
Dom also told me that any S6 car built in or after 2002 (especially the 3.6) should not have any problems regarding the finger followers and associated parts.
So, that's another upgrade ticked off on my list of things to do ,, Next- front respray, and it will look like new!
Oh yes, I asked about a blue print for the 3.6, and he said mines alreay had one!!!!, doubly happy!!!

Good to hear his views about '02 cars, let's hope he is right

Just have to arrange to meet up with some of you sports exhaust boys now to have a good listen

Anyone got any pictures of the TVR Power exhaust fitted to the car. Was thinking of getting the Blue Flame, but not 100% on the tail pipes.

I will take some pics in the next few days, the exhaust end pieces are larger in diameter, and thicker, and protude about an inch and a half more out the back, quite unassuming, which is what I wanted (hate Max Power Bling looks, especially on TVR and even more especially on MY TVR!! lol), but, it sound's the dogs b@ll@cks, and,,, it is well worth it, I did have reservations, but they are now completely dissipated.
(Oh yes, I'm not rich, it's just that I did some extra work, and we paid the majority of it from that! )
