Factory visit today
Discussion
Visited the factory today to see my T350C in the final assembly area. I can't believe it's almost finished, will be delivered to dealer beginning of December, I only placed the order on October 2
The factory looks a lot tidier and more organised from when I was last there in September, and I was told that the level of quality inspection is now much higher to iron out any minor problems before the cars are delivered.
Cars going through the production area were mainly Tuscan 2's (now being built after being put on hold, a few T350C's and one red Sagaris (who's going to be the lucky new owner?)
Also spied a Sagaris on the M55 (didn't realise any had been released yet, maybe it was the developement car)
Many thanks to Natalie, Natasha and Lisa for looking after me so well.

What colour was the moving Sagaris? The pre-prod cars were grey and candy apple red.
D
Car was coming towards me so didn't see the rear.
When I visited the factory in September I saw the grey developement car (maybe it was the same one) and it had a tacked-on plastic rear spoiler.
The car I saw in production today had a much more aesthetic solution which seemed to blend in well with the rest of the rear whilst still looking agressive.

If the one in build was a red one, then that is the first of the new race cars
I don't think so initially. They were talking about the race engines producing about 50bhp more than the AJP race unit. At Brands they were talking about it being GT race engine without restrictors.
The first Sagaris racer is supposed to be ready for the TVR Motorsport awards dinner on Saturday, but not sure it it will be in race trim by then, or juts stripped out track day trim....

TSS,
afaik, the differences are: special lightweight body work, perspex(sp?) glases, basic interior with stack instruments, racing seats, full harnesses, 6pot brakes, no heater/ac (but you can order if you want)
It's definitely a similar concept to the 360S or the GT3RSR, so I suppose it will be road legal.
