Anyone know if you can deactivate the alarm when locking the car? A tight fitting carcover is setting it off during windy weather.

Just hold the alarm button down and the indicators flash twice and then a third quick flash, this disarms the internal sensors.

yes, mine is the same.
The problem I had was when shutting the garage door the alarm kept going off, so by deactivating the internal sensor it stopped the alarm from going off, but the alarm does go off if you open the door.

Rolex - send me an email through my profile and I'll respond.. if the key fob option is not good enough. There are three other options - which are a little more drastic and takes a bit of work.. so you might want to get a dealer involved. But send me an email and I'll give you the detail on what I did. thanks.

Would holding the button down to get the 3 flashes work on a ferry?

Not sure I'd either want to leave the car unlocked or have the alarm going off, so that could be a useful option.
