So there are no more visits even if you have a car in build? Meeting the people who are actually building your car is one of the great reasons to own a TVR. I was looking forward to visiting the factory again when I order my next TVR so I hope this is not true!

Is true - i didn't get to visit eventhough i was told when i ordered that i could. NS bought the company after i had ordered - after that i was told i could no longer go.

Agree is a shame he has removed this idea - maybe its until they have introduced new procedures, controls, equipment, etc but i doubt it given his views on such things to date.

I understand that we are to get our demo cars in January and there should be customer cars from March/April onwards. It'll be worth the wait!

Sorry, forgot to add, you still can visit the factory to see your car, but the days of wandering here, there, and everywhere! are no more. There have always been health and safety issues as well as the need to know who should and should'nt be on site. You can visit the final assembly area and the new reception looks onto this area. Hope this helps.

Certainly better than nothing, and by all accounts a sensible option.

It does take some of the shine off the purchase though (I was told that we could go and see the first dealer Sagaris's in build at the factory) when I placed the order (not that it matters anymore!).

When I saw my Tuscan being built I was able to sign it (along side the names of TVR employees who had a part in creating my car) before they put the carpets in . Would this have been the final assembly area?

i've ordered mine in grigio titainio with contrasting red and anthracite interior.

have also heard about not being able to do a factory tour, but was told that could visit and take their development car out for a spin. shame they are not open at the weekends.

hope interior dimensions are the same as the t350 as am just about to order the pioneer avic x1 (which apparently will just fit into a t350) to play with till i get my car in the spring.

Sean.. chameleon orange is my favourite colour... as on my T350t check my profile... didn't want the same colour on the Sag though because to many people with a small mind will probably think it's the same car with a wild kit on it...

I had no problem arranging a factory visit (through the great chapies at TMS) to see my car in build.
Went today, see my other post, but they now only give you an accompanied tour of the final assembly area.
I saw one red Sagaris in build, and was told that dealer demo's should be delivered in Jan with customer cars to follow in Feb/March

I was told when I ordered my Sag that I could visit the factory when the car with in the final stages of assembly and that factory tours would be reinstated 'once things settled down'.

Haven't decided on a colour scheme yet, I find it hard to visualise! Any suggestions would be welcome, except black (impossible to keep clean).

Hi.. the T350 is so much more nimble and will get you from A to B alot quicker believe me... handles better than Maradonna... and you feel so much more confident when driving to the limit... best TVR yet and i can only imagine what the Sagaris will be like...

Supersonic - that's a great post, thanks! I thought of getting a blue one but there are so many used TVRs in blue on various dealer sites that it's put me off a bit. I love Orange3, what shade is that?
