Bugger! Just found out my car needs to go back to the factory. Apparently, there's a problem with no. 5 exhaust valve. Wouldn't have minded so much, but it was built in April and delivered in June this year and only has 3000 miles on it

Apparently the turnaround time is 6-8 weeks, so lucky it happened this time of the year and not in the summer months.

someone cheer me up please

Rich.

Made me laugh anyway.

Anyway... Bad news about rebuild. 8 Weeks without car will seem an eternity (been without mine for 10 weeks).

Are your dealer giving you a loan car.

Sorry to hear about this ... can the car maybe go to TVR Power instead? (are they closer).

Though of having it red rose'd whilst in for the work ? Even just a sports exhaust or something.

At least this way, you have something a bit extra to look forward to on its return.

Was the RR conversion anything to do with why it needs a rebuild or unrelated

Hobo, I really think you should have ticked the option box for side windows, but then again, all that cold air might stop you falling asleep when you're driving.

don't think so, the red rose spec was straight from the factory, so whatever "issue" there was with the engine may have been there waiting to happen from the start.

It really needs to go back to the factory as I'm having some minor in comparison issues fixed which Coventry wouldn't be able to handle.

Thanks for the thoughts though everyone

There are 2 of these on our estate - both are driven by middle aged women. One has rear parking distance sensor thingys and a dent in the bumper - makes me laugh. Nuff said.

But assuming Santa told you could have the 3 cars of your dreams, I bet that you wouldn't mention 1 Mercedes!
