It must be worth more than £4,000 even in this state, even at £10,000 to get it repaired your saving £5,000.
Can't remember seeing Tamoras for less than £20,000. Plus its CAT D so can't be that bad ??

That's what I thought, the price is VERY low, even if it needs all body panels replacing plus the cabin refurbed, a bargain in anyone's book I would have thought,,

Perhaps (and this is a total guess) the seller bought it back off their insurer for, say, £4k. So with a reserve of £4k anything over that is pure profit.

With a log in name like reclamet,I reackon he's a scrap dealer of some sorts, not the type that usually give away bargins.Plus of the two viewable past auctions both are wrecked cars

Treat with caution

That car looks damaged to a very similar extent to mine - except I managed to bend the chassis and roll "cage", plus break two wheels. There's at least £15k of damage to repair on that car - mine was written off as at least £28k damage, plus VAT!

A baragin it aint, but if you want an engine and gearbox for another project, plus sell off the wheels, it's probably a good price. I heard the engine from mine has gone into a TR6 rebuild!!

Hmm. Well I guess I failed the observation and initiative test then.

Assuming that the chassis isn't bent then £3K fibreglass, £2K interior, £2K paint and £2K contingency plus say £8K to buy is £17K and it's still a cat D write off so about the right price.

That's rediculas, they don't cost that to build from new!

Fortunately for the rest of us he's abandoned that project.
