I got these emails from some comedian the other day..

It's a 6litre diesel, and is made from 2 cars I got from the scrappies, and glued together........runs like a dream, and will accept 40 bob for the sow!
Then got this in return
Thank for the mail i will like to tell you that am serious buyer so i will want you to get back to me with recnt pic of the car and the last price payment will get to you by bankdraft if my ofer is okay i will want you to get back to me asap with pic

I had the same response to my add for my registration (on retention cert) 'TSCANR' advertised on pistonheads! he wanted to know what condition it was in and what the mileage was ::-)))

i think the scam is that they send you too much, it appears in your account, they ask you send the difference back then the funds they sent you are reclaimed by your bank as they are rejected!

(thats what i've read anyway!)
